Fondant is kind of chewy and rubbery. You can try rolling it a bit thinner next time and see if that helps.

| I haven't seen the cake you're talking about, but tip 1M is probably what you need. I use it for making the big swirl on cupcakes. It comes out looking like the can of squirting whipped cream. |

I read in another article that it was a slice of marzipan and icing rather than cake.
I know traditional celebration cakes in England are fruit cakes covered with marzipan, and royal icing. |
