I've used MMF before and have used it for everything. I do prefer Satin Ice just for the fact that I don't like the mess in the kitchen that I would get from making MMF. I guess I'm just lazy!

I've used SophieBelles Jello fondant and MMF before and liked them both, but I by far prefer Satin Ice!

I have done a few things with RKT and I have always put a layer of BC on. I just think it helps get a smoother finish to the fondant.

It's been awhile since I've mad MMF but I'm almost positive that should be enough. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you a definate answer though.
