My wife has celiac disease and is therefore allergic to gluten which is found in wheat, barley and rye. I am looking for cake recipies that use other flours such as rice flour and oat flour.  |

If any of you are interested, here is an excellent all shortening recipe for buttercream. It doesn't crust real hard like the wilton recipe. Tastes good.

| I use gumpaste a lot. To make flowers look real you have to work it thin...and it dries faster. It can really be fun to work with and you can get real good results. My avitar is some of my gumpaste ... |

| MissBaritone I have read several places that England is where royal icing got it's name. It was the official wedding cake icing for cakes for the kings and queens. |

Peanut butter cookies
1c peanut butter
1c sugar
1 egg
mix. spoon onto cookie sheet and bake at 325f for about 13 min depending on the oven.
real good...real sweet....real easy
