Satin Ice's website says 10 ounces for the six inch and 18 for the ten inch I'd say that’s approximate depending how thick and if you want to cover your board.

I use a little water between the seems to join. As for a small hole or crease, I use a little shortening and gently close the hoel and rub the spot.
