I'll tell ya... I see some of these cakes with the sugar bubbles on them and I writhe with envy. As God is my witness I am GOING TO LEARN TO DO IT!!! Just not this month because I am inundated with wedding cakes!! Hehehe. That's not a cop out... I swear I'll get to it soon!! Any tips or tricks you want to share to someone who is just going to start? Or... are there any tutorials or websites you suggest for learning? |

Okay so any pointers on how to get started in pulled sugar? I so want to try it, I even bought the CIA book Baking & Pastry - Mastering the Art and Craft because it has a section on pulled sugar. So I am scared to death but want to give it a go. What does one need to start? Could you compile a list of basic items? Do you really need a heat lamp????? I am willing to try, but I guess I lack the proper encouragement. |
