I love cookie bouquets ..so I am going to try and make some cookies and the icing..Wish me luck...NO FAIL SUGAR COOKIES AND ANTONIA74 ICING..Lord help me!!
I just pulled my forst batch out...They seem a little white-ish and they have like air bubbles...they are not smooth..I hope they work...If someone reads this please tell me if this is what they are suppose to look like...
bubbles are from over mixing and from the oven not being hot enough.
To fix after baking just flatten with a large smooth spatula immediately when you pull from oven. They are still slightly moldable then. Be careful so as not to tear the cookie.
Next time preheat at least a 1/2 and try not to over mix the dough...
Good luck and great try.

yes..........you definitely have to preheat for a half hour or so before popping the cookies in.....when mixing make sure to really cream the butter and sugar in very well and everything else mix as little as possible.....just until the ingredients are combined, that should help avoid excess air in the dough
