Fairytale, thank you for sharing!! Can I ask a question? What is the reason behind using both gum paste and fondant?

I have been dying to know how theses boxes are made. thanks sooooo much for finally revealing the big secret. i am so excited to make this type of cake for a baby shower comming up for my sister-in-law. it's going to be a gift box cake on top of a pillow cake with lots of flowers and baby decorations all around. i'll definately post it once it's finished.
i have been looking all over the place for instructions, and here they are.
thank you SOOOOOOOOO much for sharing
