To answer the questions about noise....I have the kopyjet (little black compressor) It's no more noisier than your fish tank compressors, the little ones. As for the big one I don't know fer sure but it will be a bit louder I would think. |

If you think it's too noisy  you could always build a little, insulated box to put it in and sit it on floor under your work table   |

Oh Boy!!! I can't wait to tell my husband that I know exactly what I want for Christmas this year!!! Won't he be exited!!

Oh wow! talk about timing. I've been seriously considering picking one of these things up - guess this means it's meant to be, eh?! Cake decorating is somewhat of a hobby for me (I do a handful of cakes a year - pathetic, I know) but I've always thought it would be great fun to have one of these to play with. Maybe I'd do more if I had one!
I really like the suggestion earlier about putting a color package together for beginners.... EXCELLENT suggestion - I know I'd be a buyer. |

Silly question, but would  Americolor work in the Kopykat airbrushes?
I love my system, but I'd also love to support CC if possible.

Noise...mine seems pretty noisy (I have the big red one) but I put it on a pc of rubber matting (or it scoots across the countertop) and it also make is a little quieter. |

OK, so I went to buy the Americolor Airbrush product...but pretty much all of them are sold out!
What's the word on getting more in? Usually, you can at least order and they'll ship later....no option for getting in line on these? |

we stopped offering backordering a long time ago because it resulted in too many upset customers, and way too many emails asking for updates.
I do not have an eta on what day the next Americolor shipment will come in. We are working on a few things involving the store plan and will not be placing any orders until those decisions are finalized. |

The airbrush is single action
The professional system has a moisture filter / the student system does not.
What exactly do you mean internal or external mix?  The airbrush is filled with color externally in the cup on top of the brush or the cup can be swiveled down (The Matrix Feature  ) and glass cups of color can be inserted internally into the airbrush for continuous spraying

Internal mix means the color and air flow are mixed internally giving you a finer spay pattern. External mix means they are mixed outside the head of the needle giving you a coarse, stippled, spray pattern. |

The Americolor Matrix Airbrush mixes the color and air internaly and has a very fine spray pattern  |
