I am making 2 cakes - a bunny and a duck cake. I decided to use a ball pan and a 6" round for the body. The heads are in my pictures. I would stack them in order: half ball, round, half ball and the head. However, I am not sure should I dowel and put a board between each one of them, or? Your expertise is NEEDED, as I have no idea what to do...I would like to avoid a collapse...if possible... the heads are RKT and not particularly light... Thanks!!! |

I think the rule goes that for every 4" of cake you need to support them with a cakeboard/foam and dowel. |

Depending on how big...I think that I would use two dowels... One through the head, all the way down through to the bottom board, and one through the back end of the body... May be overkill, but that is what I would do... |
