Hi,
I'm fairly new at this, and have not taken a course, but have the 3 Wilton lesson books. For the life of me I can't get my leaves to come out right. They look sort of ragged on the ends and don't finish nicely.
Can anyone advise me as to what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks so much!

It's the tip you are using:)
You need to open the tip wide so it looks like a baby bird's open beak. Slip your spatula between the prongs and rock it back & forth.
There is also a tip made that is like that - #349, 350 & 350 - same basic tip just small, med & large.
The other thing you need to do is thin your icing a bit w/some piping gel. |

What tip are you using? My Wilton instructor told us that 352 is the best for leaves because they will always come to a point using that one.
I forget the # of the other one we were using, and they didn't come out right. |

I always use 352 or 366. The one we had in class (can't remember the number) was horrible. |

Today I used #70. I also have a 66, 67 and a 366.
Thank you very much for the help. I sure appreciate it!
