Hola, Chicas
Queria compartir algo con ustedes, no sé si alguien lo sabe, pero ahí va para las que no lo sabían.
Cuando se queden cortas de azúcar glass y no tengan donde buscarlas, pueden hacerlas con azúcar granulada.
Ponen pequeñas cantidades (1 taza) de azúcar granulada en el procesador de alimentos o en el osterizer y le dan a toda velocidad e inmediatamente se va a convertir en azúcar glass Thumbs Up!

Se le llama 10X al azúcar glas, por que la que usamos en las panaderias vienen en sacos de 50 ó 100 libras y se llama así. Wink

Es que para el azúcar glass hay varios nombre, como azúcar 10x aqui en PR, en otros lugares le llaman azúcar impalpable, por eso en ocaciones en algunas recetas no sabemos lo que piden, aún conociendo el producto.

También le llamamos azúcar dominó, por la marca. Gracias Yaruka por la idea...lo voy a hacer cuando a veces a las 11 o 12 de la noche se me ocurre hacer algún frosting y no tenga la azúcar.

Que interesante ver como se le llama a la azucar "esta" en diferentes paises. En Panama se le conoce como azúcar en polvo.
