Just wanted to show this off..... I won first place at our Oktoberfest Baking Contest and $100. I made a Butter Pecan Cake with Apricots and Cream Cheese Icing. It was judged on orginality, flavor, and appearance so I did the basketweave. My leaves are fondant.

Congrats!! Butter Pecan cake is my new favorite, I love love love that flavor!! I always fill mine with caramel sauce....I am lazy and just buy the ice cream topping but, it's sooo good!!
