Hello Cake Central Addicts!

We know its been a long time since we sent out a newsletter but there is a lot going on at CC and we wanted to send out a quick update.

As most of you are aware we have been busy moving the site to new servers. This new hardware will allow many more people to utilize CakeCentral at the same time. The hardware move resulted in a series of unexpected glitches on the site ranging from problems accessing CC, problems logging in, weird posting errors, and problems viewing the galleries. We THINK most of those problems have now been solved, though we are sure there are still a couple things lingering.

Coming next will be a series of software upgrades that will improve the performance of all sections of the site as well as introduce a number of new features. These updates will take place over the next couple months and we hope to most of them in place by the end of 2007.

During this time there will still be intermittent down time, random bugs, and other unexpected gremlin-induced frustrations. We appreciate your patience and assure you that this will result in a better CakeCentral, that is more capable of handling the tremendous amount of traffic we receive and the growth we continue to experience.
