After doing my preschool graduation cake last week, I got 4 orders today but I'm stumped on one of the requests so can you guys give me some ideas on what to do????
The theme is Hamsters.
I know I could do a BTC or I could try to make one out of fondant but not sure how to quite make that.
So please, if anyone has any suggestions I certainly would welcome them. |

I don't remember who did the cake, but in the gallery there is a cake called cesspool. I know this sounds bad, but stay with me. On that cake the decorator made some mice out of clay (I think). Maybe you could do the same just make them look like hamsters. You would definitely have to put in the hamster's wheel. But I think that it would be cute.
Good Luck!!! |

Hamsters is a fun subject..... easy too. Cover the top of the cake with chocolate shavings colored to look like wood shavings, and then make a couple of fondant ball type things in hamster colors and place then under the shavings. You might even want to make one with a hamsterish face sticking up out of the shavings.
