I have a request for a Niagra Falls fondant wedding cake - three tier. I answered them saying I could do a drape that runs down the middle and paint it blue. They liked this idea but I think it is rather dull. Does anyone have any better ideas?

What about doing a woodsy themed cake like this one?

If you look in the gallery for the 2006 nature contests, there are several really good cakes with waterfalls. I thing that piping gel over the blue fondant would make really good water.

To me Niagara Falls is the horseshoe place with all of the spray, and the 'Maid of the Mist' and lots of honeymooners....

It could be made like those stadium cakes, with the rim of cake and the spray and the boat down on the board or flat cake.
