Hi- I'm having an 80's themed birthday party and I wanted to make cookie favors but I can't come up with any fun idea. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance for your help!

I think the Rubik's Cube and Cassette tape idea is great!

You could also do Pac Man, joysticks, some of the School House Rock stuff (how a bill becomes a law, etc.), pink houses (John Cougar), Ray Ban sunglasses, Michael Jackson's glove, etc.

Michael Jackson's glove......now that brings back memories lol That was the only birthday cake I remember as a kid......my mom made a cake in a pyrex lasagna pan (left it in there too lol) and frosted it pink, (grocery store icing.mmm...lol) and traced her own hand and then filled it in with silver dragees!! I think I ate the entire glove myself (so much for those things being poisonous!! Oh wait...maybe that's what's wrong with me???? hahaha)

Do a high top show with 2 different colored, slouched socks....LOL...that's the biggest thing I remember...or a t shirt tied on one side.

Since you're not selling them, you could make 80's cartoon character cookies. Very Happy Fraggle Rock, Heman, She-ra (sp?), Smurfs, Popples, Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, ThunderCats, Snorks, etc. Smile Don't forget the flourescent colored shoe strings on the high tops and roller skates Wink OH!! I almost forgot Jem! Surprised

As for the parachute pants, I had some too... lol. They were black/white checkered.

Pop rocks were new then, even if they are still around. Maybe used them on top of the cookies?
