Anyone that meets the minimum requirements can now be nominated for the Member Spotlight.
Yes, you can nominate yourself! Thumbs Up!

The more nominations a member receives, the more likely they are to be spotlighted Smile

All nominations are done anonymously. The person you are nominating, will not know you have done so unless you specifically tell them.

There is no way for you to tell if a member is subscribed to the CC newsletter or not. All you can tell is if they have met all the requirements or not:

If they have met all the min. requirements, a button will show on thier profile. If not, you won't be able to nominate them.

I was not receiving newsletters.. although I met all the other requirements to get a button.. As soon as I switched it over to receive newsletters, my button appeared.. so if you meet all requirements you automatically get a button..

How often do they come out, and how come I have never received any ?

We send out newsletters a few times each month. Check your junk email filters and make sure that they are not blocking mail from cakecentral.com

Ummm, How or where do I go to check those filters? I'm not getting a newsletter either and was hunting for a place to ask about them. Glad you put this in. Thanks! And I LOVE CC! It is the best.
