I just made a white cake and have left over egg yolks. Seems like a waste to just throw them out.
What do you guys do with your left over egg yolks? |

I save mine for a Yellow cake, or if I make a yellow cake and have leftover whites I have made an Egg white omlet. |

For starters, you can freeze them to use another time.
You could make: Lemon (or other fruit) curd, savory quiches (extra yolks = very rich mmm), chocolate mousse (the recipe I make uses 5 yolks), etc. |

I make homemade egg noodles and use them in chicken noodle soup or a casserole.
4 yolks
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 Cups of flour
cream
Use enough cream to bring together. Mix in KA with dough hook. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness and boil.
I usually double the batch. |
