Well, even Toba Garrett's homepage had a virus on it for awhile. Ads seem to be the source of most problems here though.
I also use AVG and Spy Sweeper, but forgot about Ad-Aware. Thanks for reminding me! I need to look for a free ad-blocking program so I don't have to see the ads either. Norton was just too much of a resource hog for me to continue using it. |

I just read this thread and I was shocked to hear that there is a problem with my web site . ones I did get a Halifax add and I couldn't get to CC. But I don't have that problem now.
I don't know what to do. My friend is the one who is maintaining my web site. I'll contact him and ask what this all about.
And the other thing is that when I open my web site I get a sound like when there are pop up adds. But no adds, just the sound.
Sorry for that guys. |

CC does not have pop ups, if you are getting pop ups when visiting CC it means you have other spyware on your PC that triggers a particular ad set when visiting our site. |

Well... I can't say I got a virus from this site. However, thanks to this thread I installed the AVG and found a trojan, some other threat, and about a gazillion "tracking cookies". So I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!
