I am making 2 different cakes this month for kids 1 being my own son.

my son wants to have a camoflage cake with millatary cars on it. The cars are the easies LOL. I am not really sure what colors I need to make it I have the black but the greens are what have me at a loss. Any help with that would be great. His b-day is the 17th but we are having his party on the 19th or 20th.

I am also doing a monster truck for a friends son. I know how I am making it but the truck but I want to make it his truck with is face on it. I have no idea where to get that done or even how much it costs. Please help. His b-day is the 31.

I don't know about the monster truck, but I think I can help with the camo. I did one earlier in the year. My colors were black, medium brown, sage green, and juniper green (Wilton). HTH

camoflage = black, holly/ivy and tan/ivory

Will that be fondant or buttercream? I'm curious to see it when done...

As for the boy's face, an edible photo I suppose, or the gel transfer trick (don't ask me HOW!). Your local cake supply shop, or bakeries may have a means to print you an edible photo - at a price, of course!
