I have to make a woman, who's going to be sitting on a little chair I made out of cake. I've never made a gumpaste figure, though. I searched the forums and couldn't really find any specific instructions - does anyone have any links they can post with instructions on how to make human figures? Thanks so much for any help!

Best advice is to search google for Scupley Clay or Polymer Clay instructions. It is the same concept, you are just working with a different medium.

I have tried many times to find information about making people out of fondant or clay with not much luck. What I did run across (and hopefully will save you lots of wasted time) is that aine2 has a tutorial on her website that you can buy. She also has a free one showing how to make a face. The face one was very helpful. I haven't purchased the whole figure tutorial yet, but I will before I have to make another person! Thumbs Up!
hope that helps! Good luck!
