I want to make a cupcake cake for my daughters 2nd b-day. I want to use the cupcake pan that makes it 3 dimensional. I've looked in the gallery but haven't seen too many like this. The invitation is pink and decorations and food will be too. I want to do the cupcake cake and cupcakes around them. But am unsure of how to decorate them. Does anyone have any pictures you can show me or ideas? Thanks

Here is what the invitation looks like

Smile This is a great cupcake website.

I have found it to be a awesome place to check out during my time of need. This site has great ideas, it hasn't failed me yet.

maybe just do it very simply, decorate it to look like a giant cupcake.

for example frost it with a big swirl of pink frosting with white sprinkles, and then on the side you could use fondant in whatever color- maybe very light pastel green with white inlayed dots.

and then for the regular cupcakes you could ice them in the green with a pink flower.

You could decoate the bottom to look like a patterned cupcake liner, darker pink with the lighter pink circles. You could ice the top swirly and add pink M&Ms or some other small, round pink candy, or even sprinkles.
