Holy wow, There is some kind of support because the flowers are strategically placed so you can't see them. You may want to look though the sketches and templates area in the gallery to figure out how to do this. Wow what an undertaking! May the force be with you....lol |

Just kidding!
That cake is amazing. I wish I could help, but here is a bump. |

Somewhere on here some one had instructions on how this is done, I think there are styrofoam wedges between the tiers, then a support down the middle, but you may want to repost this as a question on "Topsy Turvy" or "whimsical" or Mad hatter cake help- you might get more people to post who have done these before. |

The thought of that cake scares me! I am backing away slowly, as not to disturb the cake gods! LOL!! Good luck! Can't wait to see your pics! |

Looks like Collette Peters-type construction.
Another BUMP 'cause I'd love to know how it was done also.
Each cake on it's OWN is magnificent too. |

Wow, that is awe-inspiring work!! I know you can use styrofoam wedges and a center dowel for that setup, but I don't know if that's how they would do it with so many tiers- this one's just amazing. I did a very small 3-tier BC cake with tissue paper stuck in the wedges instead of flowers and it worked great, but my tiers weren't nearly this whimsical, and again not this tall. Best of luck- I'd like to see the structure for this too. |

WOW! This looks amazing. I think Ron Ben Israel aslo does these sort of cakes. He calls them off kilter cakes and I'm almost sure he puts styrofoam wedges covered with flowers in between the tiers. |
