Hi ladies!!

Does anyone have a recipe for the above that tastes and/or looks authentic? A friend of mine has a little boy who goes into anaphylactic shock and stops breathing if he has egg or dairy, and she would really like it if he could have a real cake. She made one last year, but said it came out more like a cookie or a brownie. Is there any sort of sponge recipe you can make? It doesn't matter if it's chocolate or vanilla/plain.

Any help gratefully received!!

electrica77, the 1st recipe I posted won't work for you as it's only egg free, unless you use a non-dairy cake mix.

I found several eggless sponge cake recipes, but they contained milk products.
