…well, for a non-professional anyway! I usually get done decorating at about 3:00 AM, so natural lighting is out! I am lucky enough to have an extra refrigerator to store cakes in and was putting my son’s cake in it the other night (er- morning) when I decided to take a picture of it there. The picture turned out to be the best of the lot, and I think I’ll try it more often!
There were a few lines from the frig liner that I used a picture program to fade out, but didn’t need to do much other touch up, and really could have left it as it was. Next time I might shine one more light on it from the front…

thats great, the lighting looks really nice. perhaps you could cut a piece of foam core to place behind the cake for the photo so you don't have to edit it.
I would never guess that was the inside of a fridge.
