I just made 4 big batches of the crusting cream cheese frosting and it is not crusting! I have had it out for hours! What did I do wrong? What can I do to make it crust...add more powdered sugar? Please help! Thank you!!

I've never heard of a crusting cream cheese, but let me see....do you have 1 pound of ps for every c of fat?? The cc should count toward the fat too. Start from there....

Try putting the cake in front a fan for 10-15 minutes. That always helps when my icing won't crust.

I hd same problem last week. I stuck it in fridge for alittle while, and was able to smooth, but had to work quick. Because as it warmed up it would stick to paper towel.
